just arrived back from montezuma on the nicoya. most beautiful spot by far. its so remote, untouched. the town itself is two street, wonderful restaurants with all kinds of cuisine. people from all over the world, locals and on. all ages. the pacific ocean, the ocean clear sky every night. soft, white sand. mmmm, so i spent only 2 nights. everywhere was booked. met a boy, alex studying in san jose for international relations. actually goes to uni. of rochester, is a junior there. real nice guy, went hiking to several different waterfalls on saturday. then rented an ATV for 5 hours and drove that around the craziest dirt roads all through the southern tip of the nicoya. watched the sunset, swam in the pacific for the first time. warm, almost like a bath. saw the most incredible sunset, had a delicious thai curry first in months, made with real fresh coconut milk.
but so now i´m back at the hostel. i love it here..really makes me think that this is the perfect job. working in a hostel, besides the usa theyre everywhere. all countries, a wonderful way to meet people. speak another language, and find not only the tourist spots but the local parks, restaurants ...etc´. andy the boy from cacao farms works here but previously worked at a hostel in both prague, most amazing place ever he said and someplace in ireland. you get free room and board...
so 3 more weeks here..the boys are leaving sometime next week back down to cahuita to begin work on a new, upcoming tourist destination. real remote, most indignious than cacao trails was. if i were staying longer i would go, but its just getting up and ready..i´ll definitely miss them.
hmm, bbq tonight. . i´m really bad at this blog thing. lo siento everyone
pura vida
xo
