so i´m going to give this blog another go. its a bit weird, slow and not has easy to upload photographs as i was hoping for. but so lets see, its feb 7th i believe and i´ve left the caribbean coast. spent 3 weeks on the cacao farm, learning about medicinal plants along with helping to cook in the kitchen mainly rice and beans with a big of jazz added to them. picking fresh chilies, basil, lemongrass, lemons..mmm. i began to take some tours, mainly people that only spoke english and i just translated what i could. but there was no sunshine, well not as much as there should be. and just about 5 days ago the rain began, and i´m talking rain. it rained about 4 feet in just 48 hours, the river that was right behind our campsite rose about 4 meters, rose right to the banks. it was loco so there was nothing to do, everything was flooded everything i own was damp and the volunteers and i took the earliest bus yesterday morning to san jose. so here i am now,
we´re at a wonderful hostel near the university in san jose. the boys sister works here and its a great place thus far. we´re just about to have some pancakes with pineapple, mmmm. i´m not sure on my next move from here, but it´ll definitely be to the pacific coast where its sunny sunny sunny, and the sunsets are phenominal i hear. and what i see.
so i love it, i miss home. not the cold though i may have to wait here until thats over with. hehe
